Birthday Cakes

Lets face it, everyone like surprises. Surprises are a source of joy laughter and most importantly a thing to remember for the whole of your life. A friend of mine recently had his birthday party surprise. He was with us the whole day, but we never wished him or gave him a present the whole day. He must have thought we had forgot the most important day of his life.

But later on in the evening, on the pretext of meeting someone, we made him come over to a friends place. When he dropped in, boy was he surprised! We had decorated the place with lots of glitter papers and other birthday decorations and called up all our friends and his parents. After singing the birthday wishes, we gave him loads of presents and gifts. Later in the evening he told us that he will remember this birthday for a long time to come.

• He had the most fun when he least expected it. He did not think that we will do something so thoughful for his birthday.
• The presents and gifts given to him on his birthday was really thoughtful with stuff which he actually wanted than some random expensive showpiece.
• Since this was totally unexpected, he will remember this for the rest of his life and we managed to show him how important he is in our life by arranging this small party.

Arranging a party is really easy if you manage to get your friends to help you out. You can split the birthday organizing to small tasks which will make life easier for everyone. Food does not necessarily have to be from outside as in our case it was a friends place and the food was homemade. Decorations and the cake was from a local store who did a great job on decorating it with cream. Something simple and thoughtful along with a candle on it did the job.
