Vanilla Cup Cakes
Recipe for Vanilla Cupcakes, which are the favorite of most kids as vanilla is a popular flavour for ice-creams and cup cakes too.
Serves: 24 cup cakes of pure vanilla delight
• 2 cups of the all purpose flour for cup cakes
• 1 - 1/2 cups of sugar
• 3 TPS of baking powder
• 1.5 tsp of salt
• Whites from four large eggs
• 1/2 cup of shortening
• 1 cup with 2% milk
• 2 large eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preheat the oven to about 300 degrees and line the pan with paper liners for cupcakes.
Mix sugar, salt, shortening, baking powder and vanilla in a big bowl. Stir for about 2-3 mins slowly and then add egg whites and stir again at a faster rate till it is smooth.
Fill liners 1/2 to 2/3 full of batter. Bake the pan for about 20-25 minutes. Allow then to cool for some 10 mins on the pans and remove them and place them on wire racks to cool completely. Frost and decorate your vanilla cup cakes to your content.
